       Putting Healing at Your fingertips

Benor1_L265Pix52KB.jpg
Many people from around the world write to ask me questions about health and healing. WHEE-MD is my way of making this information available to more people.

I have studied spiritual awareness and wholistic healing for over 25 years after starting out as a horrible skeptic about these important aspects of our lives. I share some of my path of overcoming this skepticism in Psychotherapy and Spiritual Healing, spiritualhealingandpsychotherapy.html an article on the WholisticHealingResearch.com site.

Wholistic healing srmeb.html addresses body, emotions, mind, relationships (with other people and environment) and spirit. We are unitary beings, combining all of these. It is only in cultures that think concretely, like our modern Western world, that these have been split apart as subdivisions of our lives and spirits.

Transferring the argument from risk assessments of global heating (from my last blog) to the risks of continued inter-religious and inter-racial conflicts: What if we assume that God speaks all languages but that we, being the imperfect beings that we are, have each interpreted His/Her/the All’s essence imperfectly? If true, what are the logical outcomes of listening to all of humanity...

Assessing Risks of Global Heating
Posted on Feb 20, 2009
I’ve been truly impressed with the following discussion:Rather than looking at arguments and data, how about looking at risks involved in outcomes of our decisions?Re Global Heating:If we act on an assumption that global heating is a real and present threat, what are the risks? If we ignore global heating, what are the risks?Which risks do we prefer to take?Intelligently argued:http://www.you...

in an earlier Blog I started a discussion on healing throught eh collective consciousness - which includes all living and (so-called) non-living aspects of our planet. The collective consciousness in fish swimming in schools and birds flying in flocks is familiar to anyone who has seen large numbers of fish turn simultaneously in an aquarium or wondered at the coordinated aerial acrobatics of a g...

I was privileged to be invited to speak at the Integrative Medicine Selective program at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. This is an annual event organized by Jacqueline Stanley, PhD, a professor who cares fiercely for the welfare and for the education of the 2,000 medical students at the school in complementary therapies and integrative care. This year's introductions to com...

A Lady Named Irena Sendler

Below FYInspiration – but perhaps not in the way the initial message was intended. < From: Mirtala   A Lady Named  Irena Sendler There  recently was the death of a 98-year-old lady named Irena  Sendler. During  WWII, Irena got permission to work in the Warsaw Ghetto, as a  Plumbing/Sewer specialist.    She  had an ulterior motive...  ...

When we speak of sending healing or praying for healing "for the good of all," many restrict their focus to "the good of all living people." I am increasingly coming to believe that it is important to expand our focus to include all other conscious living organisms, and Gaiag The greatest challenge in our world today is for humanity to grow beyond our separations – from each other, fr...

Veterans with wartime residues

Letter submitted today to the Mountain Enterprise 090123 Dear Editor,I am pleased to see Patric Hedlund's article, "Flap over Purple Heart Is 'Tip of Iceberg' Vets Say" in The Mountain Enterprise2009-01-16 I have been tracking with great concern the plight of Veterans who are unacknowledged, often neglected by the Veterans Administration, and suffering from the after-effects of war traumas. ...

Wish List in the New Year

Pondering the future directions of Energy Psychology (EP)... Yes, we need to systematically document and research EP efficacy. BUT... I believe we should invest in EP research not just for the sake of making the point that EP is effective - to convince colleagues, the public, insurance companies and governmental agencies who might approve and promote greater uses of EP.I hope we are invested in E...

There is much unexplored potential in each human being. We are not just flesh and bone or an amalgamation of conditionings. If this were so, our future on this planet would not be very bright. But there is infinitely more to life, and each passionate being who dares to explore beyond the fragmentary and superficial into the mystery of totality helps all humanity perceive what it is to be fully hum...
