Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)/ Pet Therapy
Animals are wonderful healers, as attested by uncounted people who offer them homes and feel that they are repaid a thousandfold. Dogs, cats, birds and other animals are now being trained and taken into hospitals and hospices to raise the spirits of people who are suffering with various illnesses and to offer healing. Again, in these settings, they are being praised as wonderful therapists.
