For a variety of self-serving motives, major companies and industries have developed campaigns to create images and opinions that favor their organizations. This article was an eye-opener to me about how clever and manipulative these systematic media campaigns can be.

Manipulating information and distorting the news to suit the purposes of government and big business has become a highly refined art. Once you read this article, you might wish to go back to the blog entry of 9/24 on organic spinach and see if it doesn't look different to you.
