Meditation (Mar 2009)
Meditation with a focus on aspects of nature are helpful in reaching into realms beyond our physical selves.
You might choose a flower, a plant, a tree, an animal or a landscape that appeals to you for your object of contemplation.
By putting all of your attention upon this subject of focus you quiet the chatter of your mind.
In addition, there is a 'joining with' that aspect of nature which opens doorways of awarenes into our oneness with the All.
Put yourself into the place of whatever you are contemplating, sensing the world as it exists from this perspective. How does the plant, animal or landscape feel in its place in the world?
Sense the oneness with all of creation from that perspective.
Know, then, that you and that which you contemplate are both one with the All.
