Lovingkindness meditation
Meditating on love and kindness not only provides a self-healing focus for quieting the mind, it also can transform your responses to yourself and others.
1. Visit your place of peace and healing, experiencing the relaxation, warmth and calmness you find there.
2. Focus your mind on someone you deeply care for, and invite them into your place of peace and healing.
3. Repeat this with someone you barely know, but like.
4. Do this mentally with someone who annoys or irritates you.
5. Repeat this with someone you would be unhappy to be close with in real life.
6. Spend the rest of your time in your place of peace and healing soaking up the good vibrations, in order to carry them with you through the next few days.
7. Give thanks to your higher self/ angels/ Infinite Source for the blessings of your place of peace, as you bring youself back to normal awareness.
Radiate warmth and healing as you navigate through your day.
