Meditation (Dec 2009)
We chose
to come forth from Source – the Formless – and entered the world of Form. We
are hybrids of both. Within each of us lies the bridge between the two. Deep
within the heart is a flame, the same element and quality of Father/Mother/God.
I am dedicated to the Oneness in All Life and to bridging Heaven and Earth
within each human heart. May the words contained here be used as stepping
stones for many bridges as we awaken to the vastness of our being, reminding us
of the power that lies within our own silent sanctuaries. As we link with
Divine Beings and our Higher Selves, may we heal our feelings of separation and
come softly into reunion with Source and our own Grand Selves."

MEDITATION
What moves you to feel a connection with something outside yourself? Something greater than yourself?
The presence of someone you love?
Being in nature?
A moving work of art, music, dance or other expression of creativity?
Looking out at the stars, or at pictures of the cosmos beyond the earth?
At the start of a day, take 10-30 minutes for this meditation.
ocus your awareness with all your senses on whatever moves you to this awareness of being a part of something outside your physical being.
If you are looking at or imagining a rose, picture its shape and colors; sense its smell; touch the soft petals and run your fingers over the stem, lightly touching its thorns...
If you are connecting in your mind and heart with another person, picture their physical being in all its details, with all your senses; recall a favorite time together in detail.
Stay focused on whatever object or person you choose, savoring your enjoyment of being in its presence.
Sense what that 'other' may be experiencing... taking you time to become that other object to the extent that you can do so...
On returning to your ordinary awareness, carry with your the consciousness of your connection with that 'other' throughout your daily routine. Be aware that you are connected with every other being and object in the universe, just as it is connected with you.
At the end of this day, review what sort of day have you had. Was it any different from other days? If so, then how? and why?
