EXTRASENSORY DIAGNOSTICS

FROM THE HEALING ENERGY MEDICINE CONFERENCE, 2-5 October 1992

Dr Dimiter Genov

A doctor who uses only one method of diagnostics is esteemed an average doctor.  If he can use two methods he is a good doctor. If he can use all methods of diagnostics he is a great doctor.
                                                        Ancient Chinese Huandi neitzin

Indian cosmology divides man into material, astral and spiritual fields.  The material field includes the physical body and its organs, vital power and etheric body.  The astral field includes the astral body, the subconscious and conscious minds.  The spiritual field consists of spiritual mind, soul (self-consciousness) and spirit (super-consciousness).
The aggregate of these fields forms an entire system in which everything is interconnected and interdependent.  This system includes material, energy and information components.  Each person may use information from components corresponding to his personal level of development.  The bioenergy therapist can obtain comprehensive diagnostic information by attending to components of his own system and that of the patient.

The bioenergy therapist has heightened sensitivity to subtle components of the fields through reduced thresholds to particular vibrations, as well as increased sensitivity to a broader spectrum.  This might be present from birth or acquired after serious diseases or life-threatening events - such as a Near Death Experience which might result from coma, stress, trauma and the like.  It might also be acquired through extensive training in any of a variety of methods - including tao, tai-chi, yoga, mind control, meditation and more.

Methods and levels for intuitive diagnosis:  With a team of bioenergy therapists in a General Practice medical centre we collected and analysed subjective data from the six healers in their work with over 200 patients.  Some patients were seen for bioenergy therapy outside the centre.

A variety of modes for intuitive diagnosis became apparent.  Each approach responds to different levels of development in the corresponding fields.  A number of aspects may be included, alone or in combination with each other.

The Sensory Method is based on the hypothesis that electromagnetic energies are emitted from the physical body.  Together with the etheric, subtle bioenergy field, this surrounds the body like a cocoon.  It bears information about the state of various parts of the body and about processes taking place in it.

The hand is used as a scanner for this field.  Chinese medicine postulates that the six meridians (three yin and three yang) in each of the hands have energy circulating through them.  These form a natural aerial for perception of energy - and may also be used to transmit energies.

Diverse sensations are perceived in passing the hands along the body of the patient.  These provide information about the corresponding healthy and/or pathological processes of the body.  Though these sensations are highly individual to each bioenergy therapist, some common examples include:  warmth and cold; vibrations, drawing and repulsing sensations similar to magnets; eddies; spiral movements; vacuum or tornado feelings; restrictive sensations; pain which may range from a dull ache to an acute stab; thickness and filling up with something intense and sometimes even uncomfortable to the point it is unbearable; and more.

For example, with an inflammatory processes, sensations of warmth, eddies of moving powers, feelings if thickness and filling, stabs, and pain at the sore areas may be noted.  With the presence of malignancies, paralysis or atrophy there often are sensations of cold, vacuum/tornado effects and uncomfortable feelings which may be described as intolerance.  With such medical problems it appears as though the patient draws energy out of the bioerergy therapist.  With psychiatric disorders one might feel stabs, repulsion or intolerance.  In cases of strokes and cardiac failure, drawing sensations, vacuum/tornado effects, eddies, spirals and other moving powered are common.

Analysis of the contours of the patient's bioenergy field are a suitable prelude to other methods of diagnosis.  The contour of the bioenergy field is determined as the bioenergy therapist moves his hands around the energy field of the patient.  An unevenness in the contour may indicate a site of pathology.  Concavities suggest chronic and malignant diseases.  Convexities may indicate acute disease, cardiac failures or strokes.

The Meridians and Chakras  The meridians are channels along which energy circulates through the body. The chakras are depots of energy which regulate the energy states of local organs and tissues.  In scanning chakras and meridians with our hands we may find indications of pathology such as blocks, irregular flows, accumulations or insufficiencies of energy.

The Asking Questions Method  This highly effective approach starts with a mental process based on substantial medical study and many years' experience.  It is often used in combination with other methods for identifying diagnoses.  Upon ascertaining that there is a disorder in a particular organ or area it may not be clear what the specific process or diagnosis is.  The bioenergy diagnostician may then assign 'yes' and 'no' indicators within his body.  For example, warmth in the hands may signal 'yes' and cold 'no'.  With a clear differential diagnosis in mind, a series of questions working through a process of elimination is posed, leading to a clear, final diagnosis.

Intuition  One may spontaneously obtain information clarifying a diagnosis.  This is a subconscious process of perceiving information, regardless of where it comes from.  Diverse hypotheses have been proposed to explain its source: from environmental data to a 'noosphere proposed by Vernadsky - a bank with accumulated experience, knowledge and intellectual potentials of the universe, particularly of the Earth.  The bioenergy therapist, as an open system, is in a state of heightened sensitivity which could reach a degree of development where higher energy and information levels are available.

In the material substratum the intuitive method is explained as the ability to instantly engage the physicochemical processes as a fulfilment of mental processes originating in the brain.  Information originates in the subconscious, then rises to conscious levels where it undergoes further verification and development.  The instant perception of information about a particular disease gradually converts into inner conviction, which is confirmed on the basis of routine medical examinations, logical differential diagnostic analysis and logical analysis of the perceived products of all these processes.  Essentially, intuition is based on every single method of diagnostics in which man takes part.

Visualisation  This is a qualitative leap over other processes.  Information is perceived as a product of conscious mental processes.  The state of heightened sensitivity in this level is characterised by increasing abilities of the perceivers, who are able to build up a visual perception of the bioenergy field or an anatomic aspect of the body they are diagnosing.  Formation of visual images is based on the sensations perceived by the diagnosticians' hands.  They synthesise all awarenesses and create new visual representations which answer the diagnostic questions which are posed.  In this process, other analysers in a state of heightened sensitivity can be included.

Speculations:  It is our hypothesis that we direct, through our mental field, a shaft of fine material (or denser energy) with a certain frequency of vibration to the biofield of the patient - in other words, to the etheric body part of the etheric field.  When a resonance occurs between the two fields we obtain information which is processed in our consciousness as a visual image.  The perceived picture may be either black and white or in colours.  When the specialist sees in black and white, the white colour is an indicator for a normal state of health of the organism.  As processes shift from benign to malignant, from acute to chronic, the colour changes, respectively, from light grey to dark grey and even black.  For example, the brain is normally seen in light grey colour.  In the case of Little's disease (Encephalopathia posicterica infantum) a splotchy darkening of the normal colour is seen.  With asphyxia a mosaic of light and dark grey may appear.  In the presence of stroke one may see eddy movements with darker grey in the centre and lighter at the periphery.  Necrosis (tissue death) is visualised as thick, greyish black.

A higher stage of this method is visualisation in colours.  Each organ of the body in its normal state of health is perceived in a certain colour.

In the presence of pathologic processes there are alterations in intensity and density of the normal colours, as well as the appearance of new colours in the injured areas.  Thus we get a more detailed concept which corresponds to the variety of shades of black and white vision but provides finer degrees of differentiation.  Normally the heart is seen as a dark, brick-red colour.  With cardiac failure, darker spots may be observed.  Inflammatory processes are seen in vivid red.  The stomach is normally perceived as pink and yellow.  (The specialist may perceive the heart or stomach as or in these colours without seeing the form of the organs, or may see the contour but not the entire structure of an organ.)  With acute gastritis it is variegated, with reddish spots.  Old ulcers of the stomach are seen with a bright swell in the periphery and fresh reddish spot in the centre.  In acute processes the bright swell is not present.

The telepathic-kinetic method  Every person, from an energetic point of view, is a freely vibrating wave with a certain length and frequency.  This wave is strictly individual and unique for every person.  It cannot be mistaken.  The information is perceived as vibrations of the diagnostician's wave get in resonance with the wave of a patient.  With the visualisation method only a shaft is emanated by the specialist's hands.  With the telepathic-kinetic method, the collective product of his biofield gets in resonance with the patient's biofield.  This process includes not only the material, but the astral field as well.  The perception and transmission of information are done via the astral field with the direction and processing of the mental field.

A subdivision of the telepathic-kinetic method is the diagnosis via energy bearers of information, coded in the material substratum of objects such as clothes, photographs, etc.  These are sorts of mediators by means of which the specialist gets into contact with the patient.  The method can be explained by the thesis that every single point in the cosmos bears information about the entire universe (Vernadsky's theory of the noosphere).  The energy bearing object is only a key which opens the bank of information.  The noosphere - this enormous field of experience, knowledge, intellectual potentials, spirituality - is everywhere.  We have to be sensitive enough to sense it.  We may be in a state in which we are supposed or likely to enter such an information level, but need a mediator or a transducer or amplifier for our sensitivity, we may employ an object which will serve such a role.  It may be something which we have to see, touch or smell, or it may be a conceptual view, though or idea.  These act as keys to open us towards this level of development at which certain information can be available to us.  However, not all the information, but only a part of it will be available.  The totality appears to include higher levels where more and more information unfolds.

Diagnosis by 'biodoubles'  On the basis of contact and resonance between the bioenergy wave of the diagnostician and the patient it is possible to build up an equivalent of the patient's bioenergy field, the so-called 'biodouble'.  The bioenergy therapist simply visualises the presence of the patient and proceeds to examine the visualised image as though it were the actual patient.

Clairsentience  With these methods, new abilities, mechanisms and receptors manifest - products of the rising of the bioenergy therapist to new levels of development.  The give him a possibility to react to fields bearing richer information about the connections and interactions of the micro (human) and macrosystems (extending to the surrounding environment and on to the entire cosmos).  Thus premises are created for the third signal system, self counsciousness, and fourth signal system, superconsciousness.  They are the basis of the superior level and method of diagnostics - Clairvoyance.

In this fourth-dimensional information stream, time is transcended as well.  On this level,    information not only about the diagnosis but also about the aetiology in the past, the progress in the present and the prognosis in the future may be obtained.  Further energy information levels may become available to us through clairvoyance.  The very basic nature of cosmic processes and their interconnections are perceived here.

Conclusions  The intuitive diagnoses which we determined through all these methods demonstrated an 80% congruence with diagnoses derived via traditional medicine.

      Our experience suggests:

    1. Intuitive diagnostic techniques and sensations are highly specific to each individual bioenergy therapist and may differ considerably from individual to individual.
    2.  Intuitive diagnostic methods correspond to the level of development of the bioenergy therapist.
    3.  All methods of intuitive diagnosis are products of mental and energy processes fulfilled by the signal systems of man: subconscious, conscious, self-conscious, superconscious (mind, soul, and spirit).
    4.  Intuitive diagnostic techniques offer significant supplements to conventional routine methods of diagnostics.  On some levels they may be absolutely equivalent.  They are certainly faster and less expensive.  As higher information and energy levels are engaged, new and more detailed and more precise methods of diagnostics will be developed.  This development is a product of the permanent movement and interrelation of the entire order and unity of the components of the universe, striving for progress - motive power of every single form of life, making sense of its existence.
